OUR COMMUNITY
Community at
the Heart of North Middlesex!
Nestled between the amenities of the nearby
cities and the sun and sand of local beaches, this safe
close-knit community is truly the best of all worlds. We
have excellent elementary and high schools, retail, entertainment,
service groups, clubs, faith communities and all season
sports and recreation.
Whether you are touring a sugar bush in the spring, going
for a summer sail on the lake, enjoying a fall hike or skiing
in the winter, there is always something interesting to
discover.
Together we live our motto:
“Working together today, Building a healthy
tomorrow, Contributing as you can”

LIFESTYLE & RECREATION
Fun for all ages! Active adults enjoy
golf, sailing, cross-country skiing and hiking trails, as
well as organized sports and service clubs. For the really
adventuresome, try parachuting! If you prefer something
quieter, take in the peaceful surroundings, attend a theatre,
meander through our quaint shops or spend time in one of
the many libraries.
Children and adolescents participate in
organized sports, like soccer, hockey and baseball, social
clubs, youth groups, as well as unstructured play at the
splash and skateboard parks. Both Ailsa Craig and Parkhill
offer cooperative playschools for the little ones to develop
pre-learning and social skills.
Pack a family picnic for a day at the
park or attend public skating on a Sunday afternoon. Whatever
your interests or level of participation, we guarantee there
is always something fun to do!
